
Munich’s Brandhorst Museum, housing the modern and contemporary collection of Udo and Anette Brandhorst, will finally open on 21 May after nearly ten years in the planning.
The 12,100 sq. m building was designed by Berlin-based architects Sauerbruch Hutton and cost €46m. The Brandhorst collection comprises more than 700 works, including a substantial group of Cy Twombly paintings, sculptures and drawings.
